This remarkable series, which earned recognition with an Iron A' Design Award in the Furniture Design category, exemplifies the creative ingenuity of anonymous civil construction laborers while celebrating the transformation of utilitarian objects into sophisticated design pieces. The collection encompasses sixteen distinct pieces, including tables, benches, and functional accessories, each demonstrating an extraordinary synthesis of raw construction materials with refined industrial elements such as carbon fiber, precious metals, and laboratory glassware. The project, developed between 2008 and 2010, draws theoretical inspiration from Claude Lévi-Strauss's concept of the 'bricoleur,' highlighting the ingenious adaptation of available materials and resourceful problem-solving approaches.
