Alpine Sprout Green Tea Packaging is an innovative and culturally significant packaging design that exemplifies the harmonious integration of traditional Chinese calligraphy with modern sustainable packaging solutions. Created by designer Jie Yang, this packaging design masterfully captures the essence of alpine tea cultivation through its sophisticated visual narrative, employing minimalist calligraphic strokes to depict the challenging mountainous terrain where the tea is harvested. The design, which won the Bronze A' Design Award in the Packaging Design Category, features a thoughtfully constructed exterior made from environmentally conscious degradable cardboard, measuring 350mm in length and width, with a thickness of 100mm. The design's distinctive aesthetic incorporates broken line patterns symbolizing the arduous ancient tea horse road, while the Chinese character for mountain is artfully integrated to represent the precipitous growing conditions. The packaging's visual elements serve multiple purposes: they narrate the tea's origin story, honor the dedication of tea pickers, and establish a strong cultural connection through the implementation of flying white calligraphy techniques.
