Treehaus NYC High-end Eatery is an innovative culinary establishment that revolutionizes the traditional dining experience by integrating food, art, and found objects into a unique urban foraging landscape. Designed by Chief designer Ji Rook Kim of UnSPACE, this 10,041-square-foot space transforms the conventional restaurant paradigm through its distinctive architectural elements and thoughtful spatial organization. The design features three primary components: a dramatic installation of 20-foot-high cedar wood planks, a sculptural white rectangular vessel, and a series of angled wood planks on the mezzanine level, all deliberately configured to conceal various dining functions while creating an engaging journey of discovery for guests. The minimalist treatment of raw materials allows for natural aging, reinforcing the urban foraging concept while establishing a sophisticated aesthetic environment.
