Low Key Luxury Residential House

Low Key Luxury Residential House is an exemplary residential interior design project that masterfully harmonizes modern and classical design elements within a 205-square-meter living space. Completed in July 2022 in Taipei City, Taiwan, this sophisticated dwelling represents a thoughtful synthesis of contemporary aesthetics and timeless luxury, designed by Sammi Hsu. The project, which earned a Bronze A' Design Award in Interior Space and Exhibition Design category, showcases an innovative approach to spatial organization through its strategic layout comprising an entrance, living room, dining room, kitchen, three bedrooms, two bathrooms, and a study room. The design's distinctive character emerges from its sophisticated material palette, featuring elegant beige marble, titanium-plated iron, leather, and customized lighting fixtures, all carefully orchestrated to create a cohesive visual narrative. The interior's architectural language is defined by the interplay between clean lines and organic curves, particularly evident in the living room canopy and dining room chandelier, which effectively softens the linear spatial geometry. A notable feature is the main television wall, crafted from beige marble with sophisticated dividing techniques that create compelling three-dimensional layers, while the innovative use of enframed scenery techniques connects independent display cabinets into a unified visual composition. The color scheme employs earthy tones and low-chroma palettes, punctuated by strategic bursts of saturated orange in the dining area, demonstrating a masterful understanding of color psychology in residential spaces. The design's attention to natural illumination is evident in its three-sided window configuration, allowing abundant daylight to permeate the living spaces, while the thoughtful placement of mirrors enhances spatial depth and creates subtle privacy zones.
