Be a Changi Millionaire Grand Draw Event design is an award-winning event design concept that masterfully integrates cultural elements, interactive gameplay, and architectural design to create an engaging millionaire-themed grand draw experience. The design, conceived and executed by Aris Mannequis and Maitri Marks, celebrates Singapore's 50th anniversary through a thoughtfully curated series of games and spatial arrangements that reflect the nation's cultural heritage and modern identity. The comprehensive design encompasses an impressive 18,000mm by 8,300mm stage setup, utilizing a combination of wood, acrylic, stickers, and strategic lighting to create an immersive environment. The event's structure incorporates distinctive elements of Singaporean daily life, including traditional transportation motifs, domestic activities, and urban planning elements, all seamlessly woven into the competition format. The design features multiple game stations that progress from skill-based challenges to luck-based competitions, including a clothes-hanging challenge using traditional bamboo poles, a parking coupon selection game, and a grocery price-guessing activity at a traditional shop setting. The culminating experience involves contestants completing a jigsaw puzzle of Singapore's map, with the finale enhanced by celebratory effects including confetti and floating currency notes. This innovative event design, which earned the Silver A' Design Award in the Event and Happening Design category, demonstrates exceptional attention to cultural sensitivity, spatial optimization, and entertainment value while maintaining strong brand integration and operational efficiency.
