This innovative design, spanning 1007m², masterfully integrates Taiwan's endemic trees—camphor, cypress, and beech—with modern artistic elements including ceramics, calligraphy, and paintings. The design philosophy draws profound inspiration from traditional Oriental garden aesthetics, incorporating secluded paths and winding alleys to create a contemplative journey through space. The exterior design features a compelling interplay of light and dark materials, utilizing chiseled slates and rectangular overlapping masses that extend multi-angularly, while a strategic light well orchestrates an intricate dialogue between light and shadow, establishing a modest modern Oriental manor atmosphere. The interior spaces are thoughtfully segmented using Oriental grids and lattices, creating private exhibition areas while maintaining a fluid spatial continuity. The design's innovative approach to material selection and spatial arrangement is particularly evident in its integration of natural elements, including a distinctive ceiling feature incorporating Taiwan cypress plaque that creates a solar corona effect in illumination, complemented by the fresh cypress aroma. The outdoor spaces feature a green corridor with granite and white marble rubbles, providing an auditory natural experience for visitors.
