Luckia Casino Arica Casino is an innovative architectural and interior design project that exemplifies contemporary casino design through its distinctive integration of oceanic themes and sophisticated spatial planning. Located in northern Chile, this entertainment venue showcases a remarkable fusion of functional design and artistic expression, particularly notable for its dynamic ceiling architecture that serves as the soul of the space, visible and impactful from every vantage point. The design, conceived by architect Abel Gómez-Morón Santos and his team, draws inspiration from the natural elements of Arica's coastal environment, incorporating symbolic representations of surfboards at column bases that transition into wave patterns along the shafts, culminating in a ceiling design that abstracts the sea itself. The 1,853.92-square-meter main casino floor is complemented by additional spaces including a 263.69-square-meter stage area and a mezzanine level featuring a karaoke space and administrative areas. The project's material palette combines sophisticated elements such as Formglass GRG for column capitals, mahogany-veneered MDF for column shafts, and Zimbabwe black granite for bases, while the innovative Trilium lighting system by Tokistar enhances the atmospheric quality.
