Children's Dreams Residential

Children's Dreams Residential is an innovative interior design project that exemplifies thoughtful spatial planning and child-centric design principles, created by designer Ching Pei Lee in response to the evolving educational needs during the 2020 global pandemic. This 200-square-meter residential space masterfully integrates educational, recreational, and family-oriented elements through its sophisticated design approach. The interior features elegant moldings, light-toned wooden flooring, and soft grey-toned paint that collectively create a warm, refreshing atmosphere conducive to both learning and living. A distinguishing feature of the design is its innovative replacement of traditional TV wall design with a perforated board wall, offering flexible furniture arrangement possibilities. The space incorporates an exclusive playroom and an extensive book wall, demonstrating a commitment to educational development. The kitchen and dining area serves as the heart of the home, featuring a thoughtfully designed hut-shaped reading corner, an integrated swing, and a peninsula bar counter that facilitates family interaction during cooking and baking activities. The private spaces showcase a nuanced use of color psychology, with the master bedroom adorned in elegant light green, the daughter's room in pale pink and white, and the twin boys' room in vibrant yellow and grey. The bathroom design exhibits remarkable attention to detail, incorporating eleven different types of tiles to create distinct atmospheric experiences. This Bronze A' Design Award-winning project in the Interior Space, Retail and Exhibition Design category represents a sophisticated response to contemporary residential needs, particularly emphasizing children's education and family togetherness in the post-pandemic era.
