The solidified metal is then cut to the desired length and transferred to the next stage of production. Continuous casting machines have several advantages over traditional casting methods. They are more efficient, as they eliminate the need for reheating and rolling, which reduces energy consumption and production costs. They also produce higher-quality products, as the continuous process results in a more uniform and consistent structure, with fewer defects and impurities. Additionally, continuous casting machines can be easily automated and controlled, which improves safety and reduces the risk of human error.
