Assistive Software

Assistive software, on the other hand, includes programs such as communication aids, switch access software, and alternative input devices, which are designed to help users with physical or cognitive impairments perform specific tasks. Assistive software is an essential tool for individuals with disabilities, as it enables them to participate more fully in society and access the same opportunities as their non-disabled peers. It can be used in a variety of settings, including education, the workplace, and at home. Assistive software is constantly evolving, with new programs and features being developed to meet the changing needs of users with disabilities.
