She often incorporated elements of the sea and the rugged coastline into her works, creating abstract compositions that reflected her deep connection to the environment. Her use of mixed media, which included fabric, found objects, and wire mesh, added depth and texture to her pieces, making them stand out from other contemporary works. Throughout her career, Drexler exhibited her works in numerous galleries and museums across the United States, including the Whitney Museum of American Art and the Museum of Modern Art in New York City. Her pieces were also included in several group exhibitions, such as the 1962 Americans 1963 show at the Museum of Modern Art. Her works can be found in several public collections, including the Smithsonian American Art Museum and the Museum of Fine Arts, Boston.
