Exterior Angle is a concept within geometry that describes the relationship between the sides and angles of a polygon. Specifically, they are angles that form between the side of a polygon and the line that extends outwards from it to form a straight line. These angles are supplementary in relation to the interior angles, meaning they always add up to equal 180°. Exterior angles can be calculated by subtracting the interior angle from 180°, and they can also be used to calculate the number of sides in a polygon if the measure of the exterior angle is known. There are a number of properties associated with Exterior Angle, including the fact that the sum of all exterior angles in a polygon always equals 360°.
