Andrew Zago

Andrew Zago is a renowned American artist. He is best known for his abstract artworks and his exploration of the relationship between architecture and the built environment. He often explores the ways in which our landscapes are manipulated by humans and how they are shaped by the materials and technologies we use. His most famous works include Dreaming City (2009), which consists of large-scale assemblages of wood, steel, and found objects that are assembled together to depict urban environments; and Gravity Ruins (2012), a large-scale interactive installation made of steel, wood, and light. Zago has also been noted for his distinctive use of colors, shapes, and textures, as well as his exploration of the physical properties of materials.
