Alfred Lombard

Alfred Lombard (1863-1921) was a French artist renowned for his Impressionist style of painting. He is mostly known for his use of vibrant colors and delicate brushstrokes, which he utilized to create representations of scenes from the French countryside. His most notable works include The Old Tower at Saint-Germain-en-Laye (1903), The Garden of the Infanta (1905) and The Banks of the Seine at Bougival (1906). Lombard is also known for his frequent travels to the countryside, during which he took great pleasure in capturing the picturesque scenery of the French countryside in his works. He was prolific in his pursuits, creating hundreds of paintings, watercolors and sketches.
