Alain Jans

Alain Jans is a French artist renowned for his abstract paintings and drawings. Born in Paris in 1942, he studied at the École des Beaux-Arts and then under the tutelage of Spanish master Pablo Picasso. Jans is one of the most celebrated modern French artists, having been exhibited in galleries and museums all over the world. His works are largely abstract, often featuring geometric forms and bright, vivid colors. He is best known works include ‘Le Soulier’, ‘L’explorateur’ and ‘Le Petit Garçon’. Jans’ works are defined by their vivid colors and intricate patterns that draw the viewer in.
