Akihiko Kotani is a renowned Japanese artist whose work has been exhibited in numerous international galleries. His paintings have an abstract expressionism style that uses a variety of mediums from oil, pastel, and acrylic to collage. He has received many awards, including the Gold Award from the Japan Arts Council in 1993 and the Tomioka Tessai Award from the International Art Exhibition in 2001.
