Xiu Shan Reception Center Residential is an innovative architectural and interior design project completed in December 2019 in New Taipei City, Taiwan, that exemplifies the harmonious integration of natural elements with contemporary design principles. The project, conceived under the design concept Living in the Park, represents a significant departure from traditional reception center aesthetics by incorporating extensive transparency and environmental connectivity. Distinguished by its lightweight metal roof structure and strategic north-facing orientation, the center features floor-to-ceiling glass windows that create a seamless visual connection between interior and exterior spaces. The design, which earned a Silver A' Design Award in the Interior Space, Retail and Exhibition Design category, showcases sophisticated material integration, combining wood flooring, white concrete reception cabinets, and metal framework to create a warm yet professional atmosphere. Notable design elements include vertical hanging greenery, innovative use of metal trusses for both aesthetic and functional purposes, and thoughtful solutions for environmental challenges such as sun exposure and typhoon resistance. The interior space planning demonstrates exceptional attention to detail, featuring VIP room ceilings, main reception areas, and carefully considered landscaping that incorporates existing pine trees and park views.
