Gold Feet Bay Pedicure Salon is an award-winning interior design project that exemplifies the harmonious fusion of traditional Zen philosophy with contemporary wellness spaces. Located in Yichun, Jiangxi, China, this sophisticated health club establishment demonstrates exceptional spatial design principles through its thoughtful integration of natural elements and cultural symbolism. The design, conceived by Bin Liu and completed in 2019, features distinctive architectural elements including a strategic water landscape pool positioned beneath carefully planned staircases, creating a dynamic flow between different functional areas. The interior's atmospheric quality is enhanced through a meticulously planned lighting scheme incorporating candlestick lamps, bamboo tube fixtures, and landscape illumination, all working in concert to create a therapeutic environment conducive to relaxation and rejuvenation. A notable design feature includes the reception area's decorative wall adorned with 145 hand-crafted ceramic replicas of Han Dynasty eaves tiles, introducing historical significance and cultural depth to the space. The project's commitment to authenticity is further emphasized through its tea room, which incorporates white lotus motifs as transitional elements between different functional zones. This sophisticated design approach, which earned a Bronze A' Design Award in Interior Space, Retail and Exhibition Design category, successfully creates an environment that addresses both physical and psychological aspects of wellness while maintaining strong connections to traditional Chinese cultural elements and contemporary design principles.
