Elina Plastic Surgery and Woman's Clinic is an innovative medical facility interior design project that exemplifies the harmonious integration of aesthetic beauty and functional healthcare spaces. The distinguished design, created by Yunjun Yang and Jungseon Jeon of INTOEX, transforms the traditional clinical environment into a welcoming sanctuary through three key design elements: imagination chink, strategic color implementation, and memory-evoking atmospheres. The waiting room features a remarkable composition of five-colored bean pebbles that symbolize feminine beauty, arranged along soft curves to create an environment reminiscent of a peaceful town square. The design's sophisticated approach incorporates a visualization technique where a single wall and visible staircase encourage visitors to imagine the spatial continuity, while specific colors serve as intuitive wayfinding elements throughout the facility. The ceiling design creates a unique ambiance by combining various colors and structures with natural light, complemented by warm lighting that evokes a sunset glow. This thoughtfully crafted interior earned the Silver A' Design Award in the Interior Space, Retail and Exhibition Design category, recognized for its innovative approach to healthcare facility design. The project successfully challenges conventional clinical aesthetics by introducing elements that transform visitors into protagonists of their own beauty journey, creating an environment where structural beauty, unexpected objects, and vibrant colors converge to offer a transformative experience.
