Contour Of Circle Aesthetic Medical Clinic is an innovative interior design project that exemplifies the harmonious fusion of biomimicry and medical aesthetics, completed in November 2023 in Tainan, Taiwan. The 518-square-meter facility, designed by Chen ChiaWen and Kao YuChun, masterfully integrates curved architectural elements inspired by human body contours with natural materials and textures. The design philosophy centers on creating a sophisticated healing environment that balances privacy with openness through thoughtfully crafted spatial arrangements. The clinic's distinctive features include a reception area resembling a flower bud, artistically hand-painted marble textures, and straight-grain glass elements that complement the surrounding vegetation. The vertical space utilizes two narrow voids where continuous arcs create dynamic visual interest, effectively transforming spatial constraints into aesthetic advantages. The interior progression from the ground floor to the second level demonstrates a careful consideration of material transitions, moving from marble-textured walls to warm, fishbone-patterned wooden flooring and translucent striped glass. The color palette, dominated by neutral, warm, milky tea tones, serves to soften the clinical atmosphere while maintaining professional sophistication. The project's innovative approach to medical aesthetic facility design has been recognized with a Silver A' Design Award in the Interior Space, Retail and Exhibition Design category, acknowledging its excellence in spatial planning, material selection, and aesthetic innovation.
