Bofek Furniture Merchandise Store is an innovative retail interior design project that exemplifies contemporary commercial space planning through its sophisticated dual-floor layout spanning 1,000 square meters. Located in the Yubei District of Chongqing, China, this specialized furniture retail environment was completed in September 2020, showcasing a pragmatic approach to commercial interior architecture that prioritizes product presentation and customer experience. The design philosophy deliberately eschews elaborate spatial modeling in favor of emphasizing product display and detailed presentation, creating a professional and efficient atmosphere that builds customer trust. The ground floor features a strategic layout utilizing furniture pieces such as wine cabinets, storage units, and wardrobes as natural space dividers, while a striking 140-square-meter display cabinet along the wall creates powerful visual impact through volumetric contrast. The second floor is dedicated to customization services, sample selection, and sales consultations, implementing an intelligent variable lighting system that optimizes the presentation of different materials including wood, glass, and stainless steel. This Silver A' Design Award-winning project in the Interior Space, Retail and Exhibition Design category demonstrates exceptional attention to technical detail presentation, incorporating dedicated areas that showcase furniture components, accessories, and internal structures in an integrated manner.
