Beauty Mansion White Public Facility is an innovative residential architectural project completed in 2020 in New Taipei City, Taiwan, that masterfully integrates contemporary design principles with traditional Asian aesthetics. The facility's design draws inspiration from the scenic views of Bitan, incorporating natural elements such as water, clouds, and trees into its architectural composition, creating a harmonious dance of light and shadow throughout the space. At its core, the design philosophy embraces a unique two-generation residential concept, bridging Eastern and Western architectural approaches while facilitating intergenerational relationships. The facility features several distinctive elements, including a central lobby adorned with a magnificent tree installation that symbolically connects all households, and innovative ceiling decorations crafted from titanium-plated metal that mimic water ripples, simultaneously providing natural illumination and energy efficiency. The project's sustainable approach is evident in its thoughtful incorporation of eco-friendly materials, natural lighting, and effective air circulation systems, with particular attention paid to the north-south wind direction. A notable green library space, constructed with recyclable materials and wooden elements, creates an interactive natural environment complete with phytoncide-producing plants and strategic window placement for optimal natural lighting. The design, which earned a Gold A' Design Award in the Interior Space, Retail and Exhibition Design category, exemplifies excellence in spatial planning, environmental consciousness, and cultural integration, setting new standards for modern residential architecture that promotes both sustainability and intergenerational harmony.
