Automotive Social Club Club

Automotive Social Club Club is an innovative architectural and interior design project that reimagines the traditional automotive service space as a multifunctional social hub for car enthusiasts. Located in Beijing's Chaoyang District, this 410-square-meter facility represents a pioneering approach to automotive-centric spaces, combining practical vehicle services with social and cultural functions. The L-shaped structure, strategically positioned between two railway tracks, features a distinctive design that incorporates both single-story and two-story sections, unified by a sophisticated material palette of red and black pressed steel plates and super white frosted glass. The ground floor encompasses vehicle maintenance facilities, including repair, cleaning, and beauty workshops, while also housing a bar, retail space, and display areas separated by an architecturally significant feature of large steps. The second floor accommodates dining areas, negotiation spaces, and an outdoor terrace, creating a fluid transition between different functional zones. The design's innovative approach is evident in its architectural elements, such as the triangular eaves and six-meter-long windows, which create a dynamic interplay of light and space. This project, completed in January 2019, was recognized with a Bronze A' Design Award in the Architecture, Building and Structure Design category, acknowledging its contribution to redefining automotive-related spaces. The facility serves multiple purposes beyond traditional vehicle services, functioning as a venue for brand displays, commercial photography, social gatherings, and culinary experiences, effectively creating a new paradigm for automotive social spaces that bridges the gap between utility and lifestyle.
