Aromatherapy Multifunctional container is an innovative furniture design piece that reimagines the traditional incense vessel through a contemporary lens, taking inspiration from the familiar form of a donut. This sophisticated design, created by Chinese designer Xie Feng and team in 2019, represents a harmonious blend of functionality and aesthetic appeal in aromatherapy furniture. The vessel, measuring 95x95x30mm, is crafted from carefully selected hardwoods including beech, pine, and walnut, incorporating advanced magnetic mechanisms for seamless operation. Its distinctive donut-shaped design serves both practical and experiential purposes, allowing incense smoke to rise gracefully through the central void while creating an engaging visual parallel to freshly baked pastries. The design's innovative approach to ash collection and storage demonstrates particular attention to user experience, utilizing magnetic components for elegant assembly and disassembly. The choice of natural wood materials not only provides durability but also contributes to a warm, inviting aesthetic that enhances the therapeutic nature of aromatherapy practices. This design, which earned recognition with an Iron A' Design Award in the Furniture Design category, successfully addresses common challenges in aromatherapy furniture design, such as heat resistance and optimal ventilation for proper incense burning.
