Amarico Logo and Packaging is an award-winning design project that exemplifies the fusion of traditional Italian aesthetics with contemporary packaging design principles, created for a non-alcoholic aperitif brand. The design, conceived and executed by a Czech Republic-based creative team led by Radoslav Dostal, embodies the essence of La Dolce Vita through its sophisticated visual language and meticulous attention to detail. The packaging design features custom-created fonts and elegant hand-drawn botanical illustrations that reflect the product's natural ingredients, particularly the citrusy notes of bitter orange and lemon. The design's distinctive approach utilizes digital crayon techniques to achieve an ethereal quality, while the mirror composition of herbs draws inspiration from decorative art traditions. The packaging dimensions of 70mm x 70mm x 240mm are carefully considered to enhance shelf presence, while the gilded outlines of individual herbs and highlighted text elements create a prestigious visual identity. This comprehensive design solution, which earned the Silver A' Design Award in the Packaging Design category in 2021, successfully balances multiple elements including social enjoyment, wellbeing, and historical authenticity.
