ARTIZEN Lighting is an innovative sculptural chandelier design that masterfully combines artistic expression with functional lighting, created by Turkish architect and designer Sebnem Buhara. This sophisticated lighting fixture represents a harmonious fusion of masculine materials, specifically glass and brass, meticulously crafted into organic forms through traditional handcrafting techniques. The design's distinctive feature lies in its adaptable nature, allowing users to modify its shape by adjusting the brass lines up or down, creating multiple aesthetic configurations while maintaining its fundamental artistic integrity. Each component is individually handcrafted, with brass parts manufactured using specialized custom molds that connect to hand-blown glass elements, resulting in unique pieces that contribute to the fixture's artistic value. The chandelier, measuring 80 centimeters in diameter and 141 centimeters in height, incorporates modern LED technology with dimmable capabilities, demonstrating a commitment to energy efficiency while preserving its artistic essence. The design philosophy behind ARTIZEN Lighting emphasizes the creation of timeless pieces that transcend mere functionality to become expressions of pure human emotion through art, as evidenced by its fluid, mobile-liquid-inspired movements and organic composition.
