Zen Building Interior Design Project
Zen Building Interior Design Project is a sophisticated interior architectural endeavor completed in 2024, situated in Curitiba, Brazil, that masterfully integrates Brazilian, Japanese, and Scandinavian design elements across 1,050 square meters of common areas in a residential building. Located adjacent to one of Curitiba's most prominent parks, this Silver A' Design Award-winning project exemplifies a harmonious fusion of Eastern philosophy and contemporary design sensibilities. The project's conceptual framework draws inspiration from its natural surroundings, emphasizing the interplay between interior and exterior spaces through thoughtfully selected materials including travertine marble, Tauari wood, and carved rough stone. The design philosophy centers on creating a sanctuary-like atmosphere where minimalist aesthetics meet organic elements, featuring distinct zones including a main entrance, hall, gymnasium, children's area, spa facilities, swimming pool, and lounging spaces. The interior's sophisticated material palette incorporates Grigio marble coverings and custom Corian countertops, complemented by acclaimed Brazilian furniture pieces. Natural light plays a crucial role in the design, filtering through Tauari wood muxarabi screens to create dynamic light patterns throughout the space. The project represents a significant achievement in contemporary interior design, recognized by the A' Design Award competition for its innovative approach to creating tranquil urban spaces that promote wellbeing and aesthetic harmony while seamlessly integrating cultural influences from multiple design traditions.
