YO Lounge Chair is an innovative furniture design that exemplifies the harmonious fusion of ergonomic principles and geometric aesthetics, created by designer Rok Avsec in collaboration with Primoz Stupica and Tina Semolic. This distinguished seating solution, which garnered the Silver A' Design Award in the Furniture Design category, masterfully incorporates abstract representations of the letters Y and O within its structural composition. The design's distinctive characteristic lies in its deliberate juxtaposition of robust wooden construction, representing masculine elements, with delicate, transparent composite fabric crafted from 100% recycled materials, embodying feminine attributes. The chair's innovative corset design technique achieves optimal tension through an intricate interweaving of fibers, ensuring both structural integrity and visual appeal. Measuring 548mm in width, 719mm in depth, and 780mm in height, the lounge chair demonstrates meticulous attention to proportions and spatial efficiency.
