Yihe Dim Sum Package Design

Yihe Dim Sum Package Design

Yihe Dim Sum Package Design is an innovative packaging solution that exemplifies the harmonious fusion of traditional Chinese architectural heritage with contemporary design aesthetics. Created in 2023, this sophisticated packaging design project masterfully incorporates illustrations of iconic Summer Palace sites to represent different flavors, utilizing a distinctive combination of pop art style and traditional Chinese architectural elements. The design features meticulous attention to technical specifications, with outer packaging dimensions of 230mm × 230mm × 60mm and inner packaging of 110mm × 110mm × 45mm, employing advanced UV technology, special paper interlayer, and sulfuric acid paper compartments. The packaging's visual language creates a compelling bridge between historical cultural elements and modern consumer preferences, particularly resonating with younger generations through its fresh interpretation of classical Chinese motifs. The design's execution demonstrates exceptional technical prowess through its use of bronzing printing processes and die-cutting techniques, ensuring both durability and aesthetic appeal. This innovative approach to traditional Chinese pastry packaging, recognized with a Bronze A' Design Award in the Packaging Design category, represents a significant advancement in cultural product presentation, successfully addressing the challenge of making traditional architectural heritage accessible and appealing to contemporary audiences while maintaining its cultural integrity and historical significance.
