The design, conceived by a team led by Qiu Liwei, transforms the complex structural principles of traditional woven timber arch bridges into an accessible and interactive learning tool. Each module, precisely engineered with dimensions ranging from 10x10x10mm to 10x95x10mm, is manufactured from durable plastic materials and designed for optimal interoperability, allowing users to explore architectural principles through hands-on experimentation. The project, completed in January 2021 after eight months of development, represents a significant achievement in preserving and modernizing cultural heritage through interactive design. The system's educational value lies in its ability to demonstrate sophisticated engineering concepts while maintaining engaging gameplay mechanics, making it suitable for users of all ages. The modular components, housed in a 240x200x80mm package, underwent extensive computational simulation to achieve maximum structural efficiency and versatility, enabling users to create multiple bridge configurations while learning about load distribution, structural stability, and traditional construction techniques that have been recognized as part of China's intangible cultural heritage.
