Wood Harmony Residence
Wood Harmony Residence is an exemplary four-story villa that masterfully integrates indoor living spaces with outdoor environments, designed by Chinese architect Xiaojun Hu. This sophisticated residential project, encompassing 1100 square meters of gross floor area, demonstrates exceptional architectural innovation through its harmonious blend of natural materials and contemporary design principles. The residence's distinctive features include light-hued wood elements that create a consistent visual narrative throughout the space, complemented by thoughtfully implemented grid and square patterns that generate dynamic layered effects. The design philosophy emphasizes creating a multi-tiered immersive experience while maintaining a strong connection to nature, evident in the careful selection of materials and spatial arrangement. Notable architectural elements include a striking stone bar, cave-like entrance columns, and an elegant spiral staircase that enhances the spatial flow. The ground floor's ingenious design incorporates a sloped garden that minimizes visual disparities while creating sophisticated light play, while the first-floor terrace offers strategic views of the garden connecting to the basement, creating an illusion of elevated positioning. The interior spaces are characterized by deep wooden tones in bedroom areas that harmonize with the natural landscape, while bathrooms feature distinctive rough stone textures that echo mountain formations. This exceptional project, completed in March 2023, was recognized with a Silver A' Design Award in the Interior Space, Retail and Exhibition Design category, acknowledging its outstanding contribution to residential architecture and interior design excellence.
