Wonderful Village Residence
Wonderful Village Residence is an innovative architectural project located in the Chiayi HSR station area of Taiwan, exemplifying a harmonious blend of traditional agricultural heritage and contemporary residential design. The development features four independent buildings strategically positioned with 40-meter intervals, creating an expansive community space that prioritizes privacy, natural light, and ventilation. The architectural concept draws profound inspiration from Chiayi's agricultural legacy, incorporating symbolic elements such as the four-square shape design representing the Chinese character for field and land, while rice spike emblems adorn the building facades. Spanning 16,407 square meters, the project demonstrates exceptional environmental consciousness through its integration of four fundamental elements: greenery, sunlight, air, and water. The design's lower building coverage ratio accommodates extensive gardens and squares, enhancing community living while promoting sustainable practices through rooftop solar panel installations. The interior spaces feature sophisticated design elements, including high-rise areas with fluid lines, varied lighting schemes, and a thoughtful combination of premium materials such as wood, stone, and ceramic finishes. The public areas, including the lobby, reception, and dining spaces, are characterized by deeper color palettes and luxurious chandeliers, creating an welcoming atmosphere for residents and visitors. This Bronze A' Design Award-winning project, recognized in the Interior Space, Retail and Exhibition Design category, represents a significant milestone in Chiayi's architectural evolution, successfully creating a new symbolic landmark that honors the region's agricultural roots while embracing modern sustainable living principles.
