Wedge Heels
Wedge Heels are a popular style of heeled footwear, often worn by characters in anime, comics and manga. They usually feature a moderately high heel, with the back of the heel significantly higher than the front, giving the foot an angled, wedge shape. The heel slopes down towards the toe and is sometimes referred to as a platform heel. Wedge heel shoes often have a thick sole to increase stability, comfort and shock absorption. They may also feature a more narrow waistline, which can be more practical for characters who require a lot of running or climbing.
