Viv Wasbasin

Viv Wasbasin

Viv Wasbasin is an innovative bathroom fixture that exemplifies sustainable design principles through its thoughtful integration of form and function. Designed by Marta Gebska, this sophisticated washbasin draws inspiration from spherical waves and circular geometry, featuring a distinctive shallow basin with a central hollow that promotes conscious water consumption. Crafted from Mineral Composite, the washbasin demonstrates exceptional material innovation through its thin-walled construction and ergonomic surface finish that combines durability with tactile comfort. Measuring 400mm x 400mm x 100mm, the design's minimalist aesthetic and functional efficiency earned it the Silver A' Design Award in the Bathroom Furniture and Sanitary Ware Design category, recognizing its contribution to sustainable development and user-centered design. The basin's unique geometry creates a visual feedback mechanism that encourages users to reduce water flow by observing accumulation patterns, while its matt finish establishes a strong connection with nature. The product represents a significant advancement in bathroom fixture design, combining environmental consciousness with contemporary aesthetics and practical functionality. Its innovative approach to water conservation through design demonstrates how thoughtful product development can address global sustainability challenges while maintaining high standards of user experience and aesthetic appeal.
