As a result, it is important to turn off parking lights when they are no longer needed to avoid draining the battery. In modern vehicles, parking lights are often integrated into the vehicle's overall lighting system and may be controlled by a central computer. Some vehicles may also have automatic parking lights that turn on and off based on the vehicle's position and ambient lighting conditions.
