Vaso Smart Indoor Garden System
Vaso Smart Indoor Garden System is an innovative smart gardening solution that seamlessly integrates technology with sustainable design principles to facilitate indoor plant care. Developed by designers Xiaoyu Zhang and Jiaxin Zou, this sophisticated system combines advanced sensor technology with eco-conscious materials to create an efficient and user-friendly indoor gardening experience. The system features intelligent soil humidity monitoring capabilities that automatically regulate plant hydration, ensuring optimal growing conditions while minimizing water waste. Distinguished by its minimalist aesthetic and functional design, the system measures 255 mm in length, 170 mm in width, and 252 mm in height, making it ideally suited for most table plants. The device incorporates an ergonomic water inlet funnel design for precise and safe watering, while its construction from recycled plastic materials demonstrates a strong commitment to environmental sustainability. A companion mobile application provides real-time monitoring and alerts, enabling users to maintain optimal plant care with minimal effort. The system, which earned recognition with an Iron A' Design Award in the Sustainable Products, Projects and Green Design category, represents a significant advancement in smart home gardening technology, addressing the growing demand for sustainable, technology-enabled solutions that support urban plant cultivation while accommodating busy modern lifestyles. The design emerged from extensive research involving 200 participants, focusing on user needs and preferences in smart gardening systems, resulting in a product that effectively bridges the gap between technological innovation and environmental consciousness.
