Vacation Villa Residence
Vacation Villa Residence is an innovative architectural and interior design project that exemplifies the harmonious integration of natural elements with contemporary living spaces, situated in the scenic Black Valley area of Chongqing, China. This sophisticated residential design, conceived and executed by designer Ruixue Liang and team, encompasses a total area of 750 square meters and demonstrates exceptional spatial planning through its innovative basement transformation into a 700-square-meter public activity space. The design philosophy, poetically named Poem of Wind and Light, emphasizes the seamless fusion of interior spaces with the surrounding landscape through strategic implementation of patios and large-scale French windows, effectively addressing natural lighting and ventilation challenges while maximizing views of the valley's natural beauty. The residence features eleven meticulously designed bedroom suites, each carefully positioned to optimize natural light and ventilation while offering premium views of the surrounding landscape. The project's distinctive architectural approach includes the reconstruction of the basement level as a public activity area, complemented by a rooftop garden that extends the living space into the natural environment. Through innovative design solutions such as the central patio system and the strategic placement of light wells, the residence achieves exceptional environmental performance while minimizing reliance on artificial climate control systems. This exemplary project, which earned the Silver A' Design Award in the Interior Space, Retail and Exhibition Design category, showcases remarkable achievement in sustainable design practices, spatial optimization, and the thoughtful integration of natural elements into residential architecture.
