Urban Riders Spinning Studios Spinning Studio

Urban Riders Spinning Studios Spinning Studio is an innovative interior design project that exemplifies the modern transformation of commercial spaces into dynamic fitness environments. Located in Istanbul's Maslak district, this 236-square-meter facility represents a sophisticated reimagining of a conventional office space into a contemporary spinning studio, earning recognition with a Silver A' Design Award in the Interior Space, Retail and Exhibition Design category. The design, conceived by Gravity Design Team, masterfully integrates industrial architectural elements with contemporary aesthetics, featuring exposed concrete ceilings, ventilation pipes, and brick surfaces complemented by metallic accents. The studio's distinctive character is enhanced through strategic use of materials including wood, white bricks, black rubber flooring, and acoustic insulation panels, creating an environment that appears to float within the building due to comprehensive floor and ceiling insulation. The space is distinguished by its striking LED ring showcase entrance, custom neon graffiti art installations, and bicycle-themed brick walls, all contributing to an energetic atmosphere. The facility accommodates 24 high-performance bikes and incorporates state-of-the-art music and lighting systems, demonstrating exceptional space optimization and functional design principles. This award-winning project successfully addresses the technical challenges of acoustic isolation while maintaining aesthetic coherence, serving as a benchmark for modern fitness facility design that caters particularly to younger demographics seeking both exercise and experiential value.
