Urban Oasis Residential is an award-winning interior design project that exemplifies innovative spatial reconfiguration in urban residential architecture. Originally composed of multiple bedrooms serving as corporate accommodation, this 120-square-meter duplex apartment underwent a comprehensive transformation to create a harmonious living environment that maximizes natural light and spatial efficiency. The design philosophy centers on creating a tranquil retreat within the bustling cityscape, achieved through thoughtful architectural interventions and material selections. The project's most notable feature is its open-plan layout, incorporating a sophisticated living and dining area complemented by a streamlined kitchen space. A distinctive open-tread steel staircase serves both functional and aesthetic purposes, facilitating light penetration throughout the interior while connecting the two levels. The upper floor houses the master bedroom suite, strategically positioned to optimize natural illumination through existing windows, with an ingeniously designed bathroom featuring a custom basin and glass partitioning that maintains light flow into the closet area. The material palette, consisting of natural cement flooring, wood elements, black steel accents, and carefully selected lacquered finishes, creates a cohesive aesthetic that promotes calm and serenity.
