Urban Enframement Show Room and Sales Office is an innovative architectural interior design project that reimagines the conventional sales office concept through a primitive, cave-like aesthetic executed with contemporary digital fabrication techniques. Located in Taipei, Taiwan, this 106-square-meter space challenges traditional architectural conventions by eliminating straight lines and right angles, creating a fluid, organic environment that encourages exploration and discovery. The design philosophy returns to the fundamental essence of human habitation by drawing inspiration from ancient cave dwellings, utilizing consistent materials throughout the space to create a cohesive visual narrative. The project, which earned a Silver A' Design Award in Interior Space, Retail and Exhibition Design category, employs sophisticated technological solutions including CNC-fabricated plywood installations and smart optical-grade PET film that transforms from transparent to opaque for projection purposes. The space features two distinct boutique display windows: one presenting a house within a shop window concept, and another showcasing a white-painted furnished setting with a symbolic red suitcase. The innovative use of materials, including black iron and specialized films, creates an immersive environment that generates public intrigue and discussion within the urban context. The design's unique spatial configuration offers continuously changing perspectives as visitors move through the space, while its technological integration allows for dynamic content display, including resident testimonials and project information during evening hours.
