Unilever Homebase Office

Unilever Homebase Office

Unilever Homebase Office is an innovative 9,000-square-meter workplace design project completed in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam, that exemplifies the modern approach to activity-based working environments. This transformative interior design project, completed in January 2020, represents a significant advancement in corporate workspace design, incorporating a distinctive 'Funky Town' concept that facilitates dynamic collaboration and employee engagement. The office space features a remarkable central hub spanning three floors, connected by a void that maximizes natural light penetration and encourages spontaneous interactions among staff members. The design successfully implements an agile working model by reducing fixed desk spaces while increasing diverse work settings, including open meeting areas and private zones, optimizing space utilization to accommodate an expanded workforce of 1,000 employees, up from the original 800. The interior architecture thoughtfully integrates brand storytelling elements throughout the environment, creating an immersive experience that strengthens corporate culture and employee connection to the organization's values. This exemplary workplace design, recognized with a Bronze A' Design Award in the Interior Space, Retail and Exhibition Design category, demonstrates excellence in spatial planning, functionality, and innovative design solutions. The project's success lies in its ability to transform a conventional office building into a modern, dynamic workspace that enhances collaboration, creativity, and operational efficiency while maintaining a strong focus on employee well-being and organizational culture.
