Uni-V Telescopic Column

Uni-V Telescopic Column

Uni-V Telescopic column is an innovative furniture design that exemplifies the fusion of minimalist aesthetics with advanced functionality in contemporary observation equipment support systems. Created by French designer Jessie Fernandez, this sophisticated telescopic column represents a significant evolution from traditional tripod systems, offering enhanced stability and versatility for panoramic viewing and astronomical observation. The design features a sleek aluminum construction that not only contributes to its modern aesthetic appeal but also ensures structural integrity while maintaining a relatively lightweight profile of 1300 grams. The column's technical specifications demonstrate its versatility, with adjustable height capabilities ranging from 1200 to 1700 millimeters and a robust base diameter of 345 millimeters that provides essential stability. Distinguished by its ability to facilitate 360-degree horizontal rotation and vertical plane movements between +45 and -90 degrees, the design accommodates equipment up to 20 kilograms through its standard 1/4-inch thread mounting system. The Uni-V's innovative mechanical joints enable fluid, unrestricted movement while maintaining precise control, making it particularly suitable for properties with panoramic views and both interior and exterior installations. This design innovation, which earned recognition with an Iron A' Design Award in the Street and City Furniture Design category, represents a significant advancement in observation equipment support systems, combining practical functionality with contemporary aesthetic sensibilities.
