The centerpiece of the design is an empathetically crafted book that combines approachable narratives about grief and transformation with practical guidance for creating meaningful memorial objects. Two significant components of the toolkit include a uniquely designed pendant, which incorporates the deceased's signature through 3D printing and sterling silver casting, and an innovative grief scarf featuring thermochromic ink technology that reveals hidden handwritten messages through human touch at 27°C. This thoughtfully conceived design addresses the critical gap in long-term grief support for adolescents, particularly during the challenging period following initial funeral ceremonies when traditional support systems often diminish.
