Twisting Exhibition Area is an innovative architectural and interior design concept that revolutionizes traditional exhibition spaces through its dynamic, sculptural approach to spatial organization. Created by designers Kris Lin and Jiayu Yang, this conceptual lounge bar installation represents a significant departure from conventional exhibition design paradigms, featuring a sophisticated interplay of twisting structures that define and articulate the space. The design, which occupies a 13x7-meter area, challenges the traditional notion of six-walled enclosures while maintaining functional spatial definition and permeability. Its distinctive aesthetic is characterized by dark-colored twisting structures complemented by neat, bright light bands and indirect lighting, creating a striking futuristic atmosphere. The installation employs environmental regeneration materials for its base plate and incorporates flexible materials to achieve its signature ribbon-like structural elements. This innovative approach not only defines the main entrance and circulation paths but also maintains visual transparency and ventilation throughout the space. The design's versatility allows it to be adapted for various hospitality settings, functioning effectively as an installation art piece that can enhance hotel lobbies, terraces, dining areas, or leisure spaces.
