Turkcell Lounge Lounge And Events Area

Turkcell Lounge Lounge And Events Area

Turkcell Lounge Lounge and events area is an innovative interior design project that exemplifies the seamless integration of corporate hospitality and multifunctional event spaces within a major sports and entertainment complex. Located within an 800-square-meter space in Istanbul, this sophisticated venue was meticulously designed by architects Ayca Akkaya Kul and Onder Kul to serve as a premium hospitality environment for special guests, corporate meetings, and various entertainment events. The design, which earned a Silver A' Design Award in Interior Space, Retail and Exhibition Design category, features three distinct zones: an entrance and reception area, an entertainment space, and an audience area, all unified through a cohesive design language that balances technological innovation with comfort and sophistication. The centerpiece of the space is a striking 4x3 videowall, conceptualized as a contemporary interpretation of traditional television displays, capable of functioning either as individual screens or as a single unified display surface. The project's lighting design plays a crucial role in establishing the venue's identity, incorporating an advanced electronic control system that enables various atmospheric scenarios through programmable color and intensity variations. Custom-designed furniture and carefully selected materials contribute to creating a soft yet dynamic environment that caters to diverse usage requirements while maintaining a strong corporate identity. Completed in 2014 after a two-month construction period, the project demonstrates exceptional space optimization and technological integration, setting new standards for corporate hospitality spaces in sports and entertainment venues.
