TTMM Watchfaces Apps
TTMM Watchfaces Apps is an innovative digital timekeeping solution that represents a significant advancement in smartwatch interface design, offering a collection of minimalist and aesthetically sophisticated watchfaces specifically developed for smart timepieces. Created by Polish designer Albert Salamon, this comprehensive collection encompasses 68 distinct models available in more than 600 color variations, presenting users with an unprecedented level of customization in digital time display. The design philosophy behind TTMM emphasizes simplicity and contemporary aesthetics, seamlessly combining numerical displays with abstract infographics to create a unique visual language for time representation. Drawing inspiration from futuristic science fiction cinematography, including influential works such as 2001: A Space Odyssey, the collection deliberately moves away from traditional skeuomorphic designs that merely simulate mechanical timepieces, instead embracing the digital medium's inherent possibilities to create authentic expressions of contemporary timekeeping. Developed using sophisticated design tools and programming frameworks, including Adobe Illustrator for visual design and specialized SDK platforms for implementation, these watchfaces represent a careful balance between functional clarity and artistic expression. The project, which was developed between March 2015 and February 2016 in Warsaw, Poland, has received significant recognition for its innovative approach to user interface design, including a Silver A' Design Award in the Interface, Interaction and User Experience Design category, acknowledging its contribution to advancing the field of digital time display. The collection's technical implementation is notably efficient, with binary applications ranging from 12 to 50 Kb, ensuring optimal performance on smart devices while maintaining visual sophistication.
