Trikaya Restaurant and Bar is an award-winning Pan Asian culinary establishment that exemplifies the harmonious fusion of contemporary design aesthetics with traditional South East Asian architectural principles. Located atop a commercial complex, this 1,300-square-meter venue masterfully integrates indoor and outdoor spaces, drawing inspiration from the Buddhist concept of Trikaya (three forms of Buddha). The design, which earned a Silver A' Design Award in Interior Space and Exhibition Design, strategically divides the space into three distinct yet interconnected areas: fine dining, lounge, and banquet sections. The architectural composition employs local materials and traditional construction techniques, featuring exposed stone work with lava stone, white sandstone partitions, and innovative bonding methods. The interior design scheme embraces an earthy palette enhanced by bold accents, while natural elements such as wood, stone, and abundant plant life create a seamless transition between indoor and outdoor spaces. The venue's sophisticated design incorporates exposed black ceilings that simulate dining under starlit skies, leather-finished black Kudappah stone flooring, and cement particle board wall cladding in passages. The restaurant's layout facilitates a flowing journey through various dining environments, from enclosed spaces with Balinese gates to open-air lounges overlooking verdant hills, effectively embodying the Oriental philosophy of combining The Absolute, Timeless Communication, and The Real World into a cohesive dining experience.
