Tree Story Condiments Set Containers
Tree Story Condiments Set Containers is an innovative and artisanal kitchenware design that reimagines traditional spice storage through a nature-inspired aesthetic approach, earning recognition with a Bronze A' Design Award in the Bakeware, Tableware, Drinkware and Cookware Design category. This sophisticated set comprises six distinct glass containers, each meticulously crafted to mirror the diverse canopy shapes of trees found across different global regions, creating a harmonious blend of functionality and artistic expression. The design seamlessly integrates hand-blown, lead-free cast glass tops with bases crafted from carefully selected solid wood offcuts, grouped to represent specific geographical regions. Each container features a thoughtfully engineered construction where the glass top connects to the wooden base through a cork and brass rod mechanism, allowing for both stability and practical dispensing through a 20mm diameter opening. The dimensions of the containers vary strategically, ranging from 75x75x180mm to 130x130x130mm, creating a dynamic visual composition when arranged together. The production process exemplifies exceptional craftsmanship, with each piece being hand-crafted in New York City, involving skilled glass blowers and woodworking artisans who employ traditional techniques alongside rigorous quality control measures. This design successfully bridges the gap between everyday functionality and artistic expression, offering users a meaningful connection to nature through their daily culinary routines, while demonstrating a commitment to sustainable material usage through the purposeful utilization of wood offcuts.
