Tree Lighting
Tree Lighting is an innovative modular lighting system that draws inspiration from the organic structure of tree branches, exemplifying the intersection of nature-inspired design and functional lighting solutions. This sophisticated lighting fixture, designed by Arash Shojaei, represents a significant advancement in customizable interior lighting design, featuring a unique approach to modular assembly that allows users to create varied arrangements according to their specific needs and aesthetic preferences. The system consists of ceramic components manufactured through whitewash molding techniques, incorporating LED light sources elegantly housed within sand-blasted glass diffusers. The design's primary innovation lies in its adaptable configuration system, where individual modules, inspired by the natural branching patterns of trees, can be connected in multiple arrangements, enabling users to expand or modify the lighting installation as desired. The fixture, measuring 500mm in width, 170mm in depth, and 40mm in height, is suspended from the ceiling using nylon strings, creating an ethereal floating effect that enhances its tree-like appearance. This design, which earned recognition with an Iron A' Design Award in the Lighting Products and Fixtures Design category, demonstrates exceptional attention to balance, functionality, and aesthetic appeal while addressing contemporary needs for customizable lighting solutions. The combination of glazed ceramic construction with modern LED technology creates a harmonious blend of traditional craftsmanship and contemporary lighting technology, making it particularly suitable for diverse indoor applications where adaptable, artistic lighting solutions are desired.
