Travel and Happy Things Illustration is an evocative series of acrylic paintings created during the global Covid-19 pandemic, capturing the essence of joy, travel, and human connection through vibrant artistic expression. This collection, designed by Taiwanese artist Wen Lung Cho, employs a distinctive approach to visual storytelling by depicting various scenarios of happiness, from intimate friend gatherings to solitary travel experiences, rendered in bright, optimistic color palettes. The illustrations, measuring 145mm x 100mm, demonstrate a masterful balance between artistic vision and client requirements, particularly notable for their representation of both collective and individual joy. The work draws inspiration from the constraints of the pandemic era, transforming memories of freedom and social interaction into colorful visual narratives that resonate with universal human experiences.
